why is it that nobody has any love for maxi mini carpet nems? :(
We have a collection of over 20of them, and feel like we almost have the only good looking ones in the entire country.... which I find really hard to believe
Even when we look online and see some for sale, they are all the same bland looking red ones and people want top dollar for them. Where's the bright ultra rainbows? Where's the blues (we have 2 blue ones, and literally the only blue ones we've ever seen in person or online)
We can't be the only ones who enjoy these little anemones.... anyone else?

I think the reason they're under appreciated is what you've already said. Rock flowers seem to be the rage (I have 5 and would like to add a few more) because there are so many very colorful ones being offered.

I would love to see some pictures of your collection! Sounds amazing!

Once the lights come on this morning we will grab pics.

Compared to our maxi minis, rock nems are boring lol

They were so popular for a short time but it died so fast. I remember when they were $10 at the fish store and they'd have 100s to choose from. I do still have a nice blue one and a multicolored one.

Yup, and not that long along ago, probably only about 3 years ago were they a huge thing. Which is when we got most of ours.
It's just really sad to no longer see them anymore

I had about 15 a while ago but had a tank crash and lost them all. I had good success at fragging them too.

We have had mixed success fragging them.
We tried twice. The first time, both halves healed fine and we sold the new frag.
The second time we tried it, one of the halves melted away while healing in its basket. So after that we decided it wasn't worth the risk since most of ours are the nicer "ultra" ones

That's weird... we've never had one touch a fish, and like I said we have 20+ in a 70cube lol

Now our giant acanthophyllia, he's eaten 2 begaii cardinals.

I love mine and dang they are hardy.

ReefGardner, and LAreef used to have some really nice ones. I would love a blue or pink one.

@GlassMunky looking forward to seeing your collection.

Mine started out blue/green, now it's red, lives high up on a rock., likes the light, whereas the rock nems live low and out of bright light
AquaSD had lots of them
