I've been very happy with them. I ran them on the 180 for over a year and everything thrived. I almost invested in new lights for the new tank then thought better of it and just bought an extra k7 for a backup. I may need some fill lighting later on the WB but am going to wait since all the rock work is getting coverage and I only have a few light demanding pieces. They are very good bang for the buck IMO. I'll never spend the money for radions again. I have a couple of gen 4 xr15 and the k7s smoke them a par comparison.
I’m sure you have already but can you share you light schedule and QR code?

Going to be taking my k7 mini down and putting a Pro III up

Sorry I don't have a qr code, I'm tech challenged :face-with-hand-over-mouth: I posted my settings on the new tank and some par readings in post #32 of the thread below. I didn't save my settings from the 180g

I have three of the k7 viii pros on my current tank. Was thinking of revamping the whole light setup but have been so pleased with them on this tank now that I’m thinking of just picking up three more and some supplemental bars later.

Gosh I MISS having a reef tank especially going through my old pics and videos! Bought 5 tanks(15g 40g 30g 80g 210g) my first 6 month last year in 2023 and set up 3 of them (never set up 2 (40g 210g) and sold them & sold my first 2 I had set up after getting 3rd big one) and watched hundreds if not a thousand or 2 hours of videos online. Moved back to California few months ago and can’t wait to finish this set up I got and have nice little colonies and fish again! I’m addicted lol

Would like to know the SETTINGS on this ...very natural - no windex look ..me like !
I would be interested as well. And what @tbrown profile you are running. I know photos can’t always catch what it looks like in person, but yours almost more of a natural deeper water look.

Pair of K7 V3s over my 70!

I'll take a screenshot when I get home.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?
