Ok my fans are on the tank. Installed via the propeller controller. Does anybody have any idea what position the fans should be pointed for best cooling. Or if it matters. Should be be blowing straight across, under the lights basically blowing right at me for best cooling. Or should it be tilted down and blowing at the surface of the tank water

I have mine blowing the length of the tank pointed slightly towards the water. This way I get some evaporation cooling and it blows the light heat away too. Last summer they did good at keeping my tank no hotter than 80 from 78.8.

Mine are pointed diagonal down but they are on.back facing front of tank. Pointed towards water but not straight down but front of tank. I dunno I guess I'll find out in a few months. Until then it won't be on. I haven't figured out how to test the controller without raising the tank temp and don't wanna do it
