Got tired of the filter socks needing changed out. Letting the skimmer do most of the work now. So far its doing ok.
 
My tank started doing better when I started messing with it less
 
This is usually the case. Stop fussing with it and things get better. Corals don't like to constantly be moved the longer a Coral is in one place that's it's fairly happy with the better it will do.
