Official NBA 2011 Thread

Well Pacific Island Aquatics got me started and i realized we don't have a NBA thread going!! So who are you pulling for down the stretch??? What did you think of the recent trades?? And of course who ya got in the FINALS!!!

I've been a Heat fan since Thunder Dan, Rony Seikaly, Zo, and Tim Hardaway just to name a few. Still cant believe i get to watch Dwade and Lebron play together on a nightly basis...honestly its amazing.

My prediction Heat vs Spurs - Lakers are too much hyper (waits for LA fans to attack LOL)

I'm surprised no Laker, Knick or Boston fans looking to mix it up in here.....:xd: I see the Perkins trade worked out well...first game = loss and the team going public about being upset. Not a good time in the season to be unhappy!!

No knicks talk after last night huh...Carmelo and Billups look like they are gonna be trouble. Cant wait for the playoffs!

Looks like the Heat are picking up Mike Bibby...i know he is no Chauncy Billups but its a definite upgrade from Arroyo and Chamlers!

I am a die hard clippers fan since i was like 12, its nice to actually see a future with my team. Im gonna miss the red Baron though.

Man you guys got a nice deal though. While i feel Baron got shafted. Mo Williams is a nice addition, as long as, his ankles can avoid rolling and Moon is a good roll player. I definitely enjoy watching the clippers lately because of that new guy...whats his name...oh ya Monster Griffin LOL. You guys are on your way up thats for sure!

Baron was my favorite player in the nba, not because of the numbers he could put up, i just liked him alot, i freaked out when he got traded to the clippers, and he complemented griffin perfectly in my opinion, for the future, yes its a good deal, i hate to see him go, i dont mind giving up the draft pick because there wont be much talent in the draft this year, and the kids are gonna want to stay in college with the uncertainty of whatever is going on with the CBA. It was in my opinion to free up space. The clippers are an exciting team now, and i think being in LA we can draw free agents now BECAUSE of "Shake and Blake" I think they may go after chris paul, Deron Williams, or Dwight Howard. I can see any one of those 3 happening.

Wow anyone of those three would change the complexion of your team from a playoff team to a contender quick!!

Im hoping the heat can get it together, but the Knicks looks like trouble now lol. Things should be interesting come play offs

Im pulling for the Mavs. I know there getting old but they can still hang with any team IMO. They did sweep the Celtics and Heat already this season. They beat the Lakers once too.

The Mavs are an enigma to me, they should have been in the finals at lest twice the last 5 years, it seems like they are 1 role player away every year.

FSU, I want Deron Williams, I live in Idaho where we are in Jazz territory, and Jazz fans are the most OBNOXIOUS fans in the nba. SO happy to see them fall out of playoff contention, they should get used to it too, i see 5 years of no playoffs for them. I would love to have D WILL so we could slam it in their face.

I think we are 2-3 years and One more star player away from being contenders, i do see playoffs next year though.

Maybe but i watched them play the Magic last night and they fell apart...granted Jameer Nelson was on fire late. The playoffs are going to be very interesting!!

i heard the knicks started off strong in the 1st half. but i guess they couldnt keep it together.

They looked good but Orlando just finished stronger! It will definitely be interesting to watch the Knicks in the playoffs...i wasnt really concerned before but Billups is sick. Melo is good and can do his thing but Billups is the "X" factor!

Well well well...so things are getting interesting - The Lakers are having a tough time - While the Knicks are already bounced...didnt see that coming. The Magic look like pretenders and the Bulls have a banged up Rose..hold your breath Bulls fans!! The Heat are board and dropped one and the Boston Celtics....Well all i can say is Boston either is really hot right now or were lucky Billups was banged up...Second round getting closer!! Cant wait!
