Just wanted to thank you for allowing me to be part of this amazing group of fish and coral lovers. My background consists of about 30 yrs in the saltwater aquarium hobby. I am old school on my beliefs and I love metal halides lol. Just finished my new build, it’s a 500 gallon display with a 200 gallon sump. I do mostly lps but have a soft spot for my giant old green toadstool. I’ll try to post some more pics of my current and last build but I’m a little slow with technology and forums. Once again thank you and have a great day
Welcome! It sounds like you bring a wealth of information to the forums, so thank YOU for joining! I used to live metal halides but living in Phoenix AZ where we're having a cold front of 102 today... My water used to get pretty hot. Leads work good for me. I have them on all of my tanks - fresh and salt.

Welcome!!!

I too love Metal Halides and T5s. Old school is not always bad. Would love to see a build of that 500g with 200g sump. Pictures.. we love pictures.
Go to the monster tank build thread and excuse the first post I made with only 3 replies. Look for the next one with more replies to see my progress
