How many baffles for $200? And what thickness of glass?

I paid $30 each for four 17.25” X 18”-ish, X 3/16” thick baffles for my 75g sump…

I felt that was too steep, personally..

Since then, I’ve ended up cutting my own baffles on a wet cut tile saw with a diamond blade!

Pro tip? Old junk glass aquariums/terrariums are excellent for material!

You can make your wiers adjustable! Is that what you’re referring to?

I’m actually not familiar with the Fiji cube kits off the top of my head!

No because of the 35s on either side in modular(carriage bolted) to the side of the stand.

I would have 3 drains in a BeanAnimal configuration from the 190 and 2 from the 35s in Herbie configuration. The main drains (4pipes) would go into a common section then go to the rest of the sump. I wouldn’t join them before entering the sump. The three emergency drains would go into whatever section of the sump they were closest to. JMO

Yeah the 35 are gonna be synced both return and overflow. But the 190 is on a dedicated circuit, if you will.

Our cabinet stand has an open 4 foot span that supports an 85 gallon tank but it can support more. The horizontal support is 3.875" tall by 1.42" thick with a .71" thick board on top, and sit on a .71" vertical board on both ends. Its incredibly strong.

I would not reinvent the wheel here. You can use inexpensive 2x4's to build the Rocket Engineer stand liked above in this thread.

If your tank is a ten gallon, you can often find a nightstand or sturdy side table that can support a 10 gallon just fine. Check your local thrift stores or grandma's attic.

Keep in mind that your garage floor probably isn’t perfectly level! — that’s worth a check too!

Here is mine currently. Not planned as open but no plans to finish it anytime soon.

Designed so sump can be slide in from the side. I do not like going more then 4ft unsupported.

tank is 300G 96x30x24 sump is 125g - but i forget the dimensions
