Yeah the problem is no matter how crokked the floor or whatever, nothing beats the warped butt wood from menards. Save big money, buy a bigger headache. Ok so here we have almost the finished product. Got a few more 2x4s to put in. And then skin the back and paint this pig!!!

I'm concerned about this. What's supporting that 2x6 (2x8?) beam on the front? In @RocketEngineer's design, that should be supported by 2x4s that rest on a horizontal 2x4 that spreads the weight out over a larger area.

Ok so here we have almost the finished product. Got a few more 2x4s to put in. And then skin the back and paint this pig!!!

what is supporting the weight other then nails/screws? you need uprights, all cut the exact same length to go between your top and bottom frame. this carries the weight and not the hardware on the uprights you currently have with does the alignment and squareness.

when you skin you can tweak in squarness here and there

Finally one last piece of skin and the main display is done. And its too small. But ima make it fit.
Ah ****, 2 more pieces of plywood. For got the bottom. Oh well, the weekend is upon me and I wont be able to do it. Until Sunday. Maybe. Hopefully.
