I have a 35 gallon hex tank, 23"long, 20"wide, and 24"high, whose fresh water occupant finally expired of old age.
I really would like to turn it into a saltwater tank. It is not plumbed, and I have a Fluval 350 filter underneath the stand.

Looking for ideas for stocking, rockscape, etc. And how to do a sump in a stand that pretty much has matching dimensions of the tank.
So excited! I currently have a year old pico (5 gallon) tank in my office with a HOB filter. I also have a 10 gallon QT tank.

You can use the fluval 350 provided it doesnt have any metal in it. It might be a burden to change the filter floss weekly though. Maybe just fill it with activated carbon or some biological media.
