Hi ! anyone using Orphek in LPS dominant tank? I'm having difficulty setting the "ideal" % on each channel. It seems to cause bleaching on some corals.
I have 3 fixtures hanging above 10" above water, tank is 24" deep. Channel 2 peak for 6 hours at 100%, Channel 3 (UV) peak for 5 hours at 20% and Channel 4 (Infrared) peak for 5 hours at 40%. I My question is whether my current setting for each of these channel is too high given the fact that these lights are comparatively stronger than other brands? Thanks!

p.s. I know it has to do with lighting because once i moved bleached corals to shaded areas their colors came back.

The Atlantic V4 is very potent - we had a similar problem with ours at the maritime museum - @Sallstrom maybe can help you out with our adjusted settings - I´m home in isolation

Sincerely Lasse

We did lower our Atlantik 4v intensity when the corals looked like they were struggling. I usually set all channels at 100% when we start up, so I just lowered all channels the same. :) The corals liked the change.
We also had quite low nutrients during that period.

thanks Lasse and Sallstrom. However, how is that possible? I think having the same level of White and UVs as high as Blue will definitely burn LPS? Unless Blue is kept at like 20% peak?
