Orphek pendants

I'm wondering what people's experience with the Orphek pendants has been. I'm thinking of getting a used pair to put over a 120gal (48x24x24) and wondering if that's a good match or not.

They are more for public aquariums or massive home aquariums.

If you are just talking their Atlantik V4 then you can't go wrong. Amazing light.

It's the older pendant (v2 I think) that is out of production, not the 500watt big boys they make for commercial use.

I guess I was more hoping to see some personal experience with them. I’ve read the Dana review and the specs on the Orphek website, but really wanted to see if anyone else had more true to life, longer term experience. Since they aren’t in production any longer, I’m guessing they weren’t a big seller, and was wondering why. Were they too expensive for what they offer? Was the PAR not intense enough for successful growth? Were they just not that popular due to design? Things like that.
