Picked up a little Sun Coral today, about 50 heads:

Came across a picture of my reef when I first started reefing - May 27th, 2017. We had no clue what we were doing. Canister filter, cheap lights, Home Depot sand, Abalone shells (one even was full of chaeto), and if you look hard you can see my homemade skimmer.

Nems are splitting tonight. There were 2 sister nems side by side on the rock . One just split and the other looks to be in the process of splitting.

Do you feed them?

No. They get really big if you feed them.

Our "little" starfish easily takes up half of the 40 gallon breeder:

Gave away some Palys and Zoas today so I could rescape the left side of the 30L

Making some slow progress on the NPS reef. On top of the 50+ heads of Australian Orange Sun Coral, I have added 4 Heads of Dendros, and some tiny (1mm) Yellow Sun Corals that I hope will spawn and take over the whole reef in time. I wont lie, it is a bit of work to make sure each head gets food and I can see how feeding these non-photosythetic corals could really pollute a reef tank quick (good thing I have 25 Damsels in the tank to clean up the scraps) The Orange Sun is all fat from just eating a cube of Mysis:

The large Serpent Star has figured out that he can steal the Sun Coral's food by rubbing his arms across it.

These 2 reefs are plumbed together. The reef lit with LEDs looks so much cleaner.

Some corals just pop without actinic. Crappy pic. but this monti is so bright. Has bright red polyps. Pic. was taken without any tank lights on. The guy we got it from named it "SuperGirl"
