Over priced or rare find

So I just saw this awsome pair of anglers but then saw the prices figured I would get other reefers comments on this find at divers den

I'm sure they're supposed to look like that but with the camouflaged eye, those things look dead... Lol.

Interesting fish though.I bet they're hard to hand feed, at least in a larger tank.
 
They are pretty widespread but difficult to find. They are probably that expensive because they were probably sourced from Hawaii.
 
Being a more rare angler, plus a bonded pair make for the higher price. I do believe these are from Australia as well, Not Hawaii. I could be mistaken though.

The fact that they're a harvested pair and not just a bonded pair probably bumps them up quite a bit.
 
Maybe it's rare. I get it. But it still butt butt ugly and not my cup of tea for keeping something that rarely moves(?)
 
If you are the pretentious type, then are are priced just right. These are very boring fish that don't live that long in captivity, and should be left in the ocean. Another reason I'm happy with all the banning and halting going on.
