The nipples on my Enaly 200 ozone generator have broken.

Has anyone 3d printed replacements? Any thoughts on filaments that would hold up to ozone better than others?

I do know that Knylar (PVFD) is the plastic of choice for ozone resistant fittings… and, it appears that several brands do sell Knylar filament!

I suck at creating parts, but replacing a few ozone fittings on my skimmer would also be good. It’d be easy to print piles of them once they’re drawn. I’m hoping someone beat me to the design part.

Try going to McMaster-Carr’s website!

They have free DXF files for a lot of their inventory; you should be able to pull the DXF for the fitting shape/style you need, then just print it in Knylar filament!

Wonder how PETG would handle ozone? At the PVFD prices one could reprint many parts as they fail and likely be ahead with a lifetime of reefing. Lol
Concentrated ozone can degrade most plastics quite rapidly! — I’ve heard of some lasting only a few minutes, even!
