Painting tank background

Hello,

I know many of you use krylon fusion spraypaint. My tank is already inside the house so I can't bring it back outside to spraypaint it.
Have any of you used the krylon fusion rollon?
Specifically this one:
Krylon: Products: Fusion Brush-On

Was wondering if this would be a good alternative.

I just recently moved and painted my tank back ground black and used the paint you are suggesting with great results. it needed 3 coats to cover completely. I still suggest good ventilation while applying.

I used a different brand, but painted a background with a roller and it came out fine.

I've painted the back of all of my tanks with a roller. Takes quite a few coats, but it looks great.

I'm going to probably pickup the paint I posted. What other brands have you guys used? I went to my local lowes today and they didn't have it. Hopefully home depot will have it tomorrow.

I just picked up a can of latex from the mis-tint rack. Since it isn't going in the tank, you don't need reef safe.

I used limo tint that I picked up at walmart. Very easy, no mess, no smell, and has held up great since I put it on two years ago. I won't bother with paint again unless you want blue or something.

What steps do you guys follow that roll on the paint? How should someone prep the glass?

I used latex from lowes on the back of the tank... buy a quart and if you scratch some of the paint off you can just touch it up. I have had it on there for about 2 weeks and no issues, no smell.

I used 2 colors of spray or rattle can paint and did a stripe looking pattern. Sorry for the reflections but I was doing this out on the driveway.

I've heard that Krylon paint works fine. I would be careful indoors with it (proper ventilation, etc.) and make sure it doesn't get inside the tank.

We used self-adhesive vinyl sheeting for the back of our tank...similar to this type found here.

I couldn't find kryon roll on so I went with rustoleum latex paint from home depot.

Latex paint is fine.. 99% of the tanks you see at your lfs are painted with cheap latex rolled on the back... Looks perfect from the inside every time haha...

I have used the cheapest spray paint from Walmart, Krylon or HD generic stuff on glass and acrylic. It all seems to work just fine.
Tape off and cover with newpaper any part you don't want painted.

*Cant do this indoors of course. This only works if your tank is not setup yet.
