Beautiful tank and stand. Really nice work.

Great build and skills!

Thank you both!!!

I just added xf350 x3 tonight - followed by rearranging some corals as they started blowing around with the new flow. There will be plenty with 4 of these and one mp60.

Cotton Candy - it has both light blue and lavender tips. It’s mesmerizing to watch

Really looking good!!

Thank you!

I have some new fish in qt:
- 9 chromis (1 died in shipping)
- 1 teenie tiny cleaner wrasse
- monster male lyretail anthia
- female lyretail anthia
- copperband butterfly

I’m following the humblefish h2o2 protocol followed by prazipro after 72 hours. They’re looking good so far and were all very nice looking and active out of the bag on today’s shipment. Last weeks was a day late and I had 3 anthias and 1 copperband doa unfortunately. Somehow one anthia and a copperband survived. The copperband has a big gash on his side but it appears to be healing and he is picking on the rocks constantly. The anthia is eating anything I put in the tank.

Just be careful with h202 when a fish has open wounds. kills both good and bad bacteria obviously.

The cleaner wrasses keeps working on the copperband, but the wound is looking pretty raw. I wonder if I should let the wrasse keep doing his work or put the copperband back in qt. He’s getting a prazipro bath right now and looks normal aside from the giant sore.

May want to post that picture in the fish forum, Doug. A few years ago, I had to separate my cleaner wrasse. It's very happy in the sump shared with a pair of clownfish. Copperbands don't have much body armour and that wound looks nasty. Hope your fish recovers. Can't wait to see that Orange Crush grow out in your new system. Very nice work!

Sadly it died the next day. It’s too bad because it was so active and constantly nibbling on the rocks and swimming around with the other fish.

I need a day to take some photos to share. I have been so busy lately with the normal life stuff and getting the yard back in order after taking a beating from the summer heat. I have so many new corals, fish, and equipment upgrades to report.

Great to see the tank finally filled, looks fantastic!

Thanks!

I added a reef cleaner pack from reeftopia and they are going to town on all the algae that started growing on the new rock towers I built. The original rock is still clean and looking nice. I have waited to add any new frags til the algae happened, and it’s happening as expected. I put a Walt Disney, Maleficent, Bill Murray, and Creme de la Cream from the frag tank on one of the rock towers only because they needed to be fragged and they are too nice to be hiding in the basement.

Smiddy built me some awesome mounts for my gyres too - those things are great and they make it much easier keeping my glass clean in front of them

The top one to trap bubbles and to gravity feed the skimmer, and hold chaeto

This one has some extra live rock and is where I qt the fish. It catches a lot of the detritus and is easy to siphon

Some photos of all the sponges and goodies in the rock. Most of this is over 20 years is my system. I pull it all out once a year or so to shake out detritus and to siphon out the bottom of the tank
