PAR reading over photoperiod

so what do you guys think about this reading. I measured PAR hourly and took this average readings (mid tank) over my photoperiod. I use a Kesill 360 and 4T5 (24in).

I have the impression that light is too mugh as per the washed colors of the corals, but I have researched that average ligth over a reek is around 1,500 MosM2S1 daily.

opinions?

Depends a great deal on what corals you're keeping and what lighting conditions they grew under initially. Pale colors (partial bleaching) could also be caused by carbon dosing or too much nitrogen or not enough phosphorus or too big a change in temperature or temperature being too warm or too cold.

Keep in mind a "natural" DLI of 26 would translate to 600PAR for 12 hours if steady (no ramp up/down ect.)
also apparently corals can go into photoinhibition at high PAR levels ie. in the ocean.
Different ones at different intensities.

If the PAR value were to increase to 300 µmol·m²·sec, many corals’ zooxanthellae would be at their photosynthetic saturation point, and increasing the amount of light might be detrimental.
