Thats $160. Surely there is a more affordable route to achieve the same.
Eh. It's got a nice look. I would have cut holes in the canopy and dropped them on it.
I think a marine land and low end "starter" big names are all more expensive.

Def would have been better than the powercompacts I bought off Craigslist. Lol.

One of on a five or ten would look pretty cool.

Mounted 8" above the water and using an Apogee MQ500 with full spectrum sensor, my H80 produced 132 PAR directly under the array and just under the water surface on the "Grow" setting.

I'd love to see some pics. Do you have a build thread?

Sure thing! I dont have a build thread here, I started one on NR but pretty quickly stopped updating it, I never think to do so. Here are a few pictures from a couple months back. Unfortunately I no longer have the torch up front, not sure exactly why but he didnt thrive and slowly withered away even though I have that bright green hammer thats probably double in size since these pictures and another branching hammer doing just fine as well. Also, my prized pink goniopora isnt looking as good :(;Sour I was cleaning a few weeks back and dropped a frag right in the middle of him. He's still alive, but I lost probably a quarter sized chunk of tissue and hit hasnt opened as fully since thing.

I'll take some newer pictures after this weekend, got a local frag swap I hope to pick up some good stuff at.

Description on Reef Breeders says its up to 18" x 18" (they sell it as "Nano Light Touch")
I'm using it to light my Frag QT tank and its working well so far.

Where is the power supply?
(Numbers off it please)
Wall wart or brick.. or 110V over the tank?

if the kessil is like the other kessils the par reader will not read it right and we all know that kessil is a very capable light
Returned the PAR meter today and shared my results from the Kessil A80 with my local club member. He said that this meter is blue spectrum-corrected. Meaning it accurately measures blue LED as part of the PAR reading.

thanks.. soo.. you can add any type of strip PWM LED dimmer to it.
no channel control but at least w/ a TC-420 (421 is WI-Fi )
you could add a ramp up/down max out feature..

Fwiw. You can also use the current orbit series timer and dimmer too. Only about $20 difference. 12 and 12v as well.
Only gives you a 30 min ramp but...

So, I received the Lumini Asta 20 Planted version light. I know it doesn't really pertain to Marine life but in the off chance you want to try this for Cheatomorph or any other macro algae here is the Par results for the Planted version.

So, what would be good for a 75 gallon reef tank? Right now have a 6 bulb t-5 grow light with actinics and 10k's. Very budget minded .
