Here are some better pics@Jay Hemdal - Can you verify ?
Sorry, not clear enough to make a positive ID. I doubt it is a parasite, and even if it is, one isn’t going to harm the fish. Here are some better pics
looking at pics, agree with Jay that it looks like fish ran into something with an edge. One nice thing about saltwater fish is their ability to heal and quickly. Keep at eye on it to assure its in the right direction. Here are some better pics
Thank you! Yes the Achilles has a great appetite, y’all had actually answered some questions about this fish when I had it qt awhile back. I had him in copper power and after a couple weeks he started flashing so I gave him 3 rounds of prazi and after just the first couple days the flashing subsided. Then he stopped eating for 3 days when he was introduced into the dt, we assumed it was constipated and after he passed whatever it was he’s been in great health since gaining weight like a champ. He’s a model citizen in the tank and I love him lol, although I’m always watching closely and a little nervous cuz of everything I hear about it being a difficult fish, but so far so good! thanks for the help!looking at pics, agree with Jay that it looks like fish ran into something with an edge.
