A type of common garden spider. I dont think you can frag it and get much money for it. I would keep it. It will eat other insects moths, skeeters, roaches and even poisonous spiders.

Because you're in Indy, the chances of it being a spider that can harm you are just about zero. I'd keep it. As mentioned above - it will eat all sorts of insects for you.

Right outside the back door there is a Wolf Spider family that has been living in the corner of our vinyl siding for years. Every time my wife sees one she wants me to kill it, so I go out and get rid of the web (usually chock full of dead insects that would otherwise be in the house, btw) and she is happy. There is another living on the inside of the garage door to the back yard. It is close to 1/2 dollar size. It's busy doing it's job as well.

I'm sure Charlotte was just looking for a nice place to have her family. Maybe she wanted her nursery to have an aquarium?

Yep, "jumper". Good guy, for a spider. Catch and release outside. Wife thinks I'm nuts when I do this, but hey, they work for you!
