Can anyone help me identify what’s on my acan? It retracts very quickly as well

Looks like a type of featherduster worm. Neither pest nor CUC, they're kind of neutral. Harmless filter feeders, and moderately attractive.

Unless you have a copperband butterflyfish or an arrow crab. Then they're snacks.
