Pictus blenny eating Acan

mostly posting this for emotional support but if anyone has advice I’d love to hear it.
I got a new pictus blenny (a smaller relative of the tailspot) last Thursday. She’s adorable and I love her. But I’ve noticed her picking around my acan frag and I’ve also noticed that the Acan’s 3 new baby acan buds are all gone (the biggest bud is barely still there). I think there is not much I can do but try to feed more - I can’t sump the blenny or put her in a different tank (I just have the 10 Gallon nuvo). Hopefully she won’t eat my other corals. :( I’m surprised cause live aquaria labeled her as reef safe. I guess I should’ve gotten a tailspot.

Sorry to hear. Maybe she is actually going after algae and irritating the acans to their demise. I would try some algae sheets or pellets maybe she will munch those instead. It is such a bummer when a fish goes rogue.

a little update. I've tried moving the Acan off the rock, where it was the blenny's favorite perching spot, and back to the sand. She still picks but a lot less and it is definitely looking better. The bite marks seem to be healing. Fingers crossed

My Molly Miller used to attack anything I put on the sand for a few days. Moving the new coral always helped, as did feeding algae. Good luck!
