at first glance yes it does look like it. after we see just a tad bit more growth pattern i'm we'll all know for sure if it is or not. Either way great polyp extension

I'd say it is. I've always read that the Pink Lemonade encrusts like crazy before growing out, which looks like its doing. Nice looking piece.

I would say yes it looks like it to me under low light. Truely is a stunner once it grows out.

I would say pink lemonade because of the yellow base and with the pink polyps but its hard to tell. Once you start letting it grow out and you get to see exactly what kind of growth pattern you start to get it will be easy to tell but right now i am with the guys on pink lemonade. What did you buy it as?

You guys are great. I bought it from a local shop and he did not know the name. I just liked how it looked, it was 45 bucks. Of course I thought I really messed up when I accidently broke it's tip off. But now I have this great looking piece and a fully healed one inch frag as well  . Where it broke off healed quicky but it did not grow for like 2 months. Now it's starting to grow. I saw the oregen tort purple monster pink lemonade thread and it looked really close to the PL. Thanks again everyone!

Yup that is what mine looked like when I bought it. It will spread out a lot before it starts poping up coralites. Here is a pic of mine a month ago...Nice pick-up!

If it is the True Tyree Pink Lemonade, one string of each polyp will be longer than the others (about twice as long). You typically will not see this until the growth starts growing upward. But that is the easiest way to tell a true Tyree PL. Nice looking piece!

And you can see some of those "strings" in the pic above. That is def a Tyree PL. And very nice looking one.

The only thing that throws me is the blue around the encrusting base. I've never seen that in a pink lemonade before. It makes it a very interesting piece! Looking forward to seeing what this looks like in a few months!

Mine really formed about a 3" circle before it started to shoot up coralites. Got to be patient on this one.
