I've had a Pink Streak Wrasse for many years now. The most peaceful fish I've ever had. Eats anything. Masstick is fun to feed as well. Oh I also have a Tanaka Wrasse too [emoji16]

What size tank and what fish do you plan on having with it? I think this will be important.

Thanks for the reply. Planning to have the below in a 40 gallon. The lfs has one in stock so I want to grab him up before gone. So it will go into my tank first with the goby. Tanks fully cycled, currently going through the uglies w/ a few snails.
1 Purple Firefish
1 Royal Gramma Basslet
1 Watchman Goby
1 Pink Streaked Wrasse
2 Clownfish

Possible jerks in that group would be the Royal Gramma and the Clown...but I haven't tried those with mine.

So then I guess adding first will help. The gramma I have no problem replacing with a different fish, and adding the clowns last bc they are the ones I figured were most aggressive.

I've had mine a few weeks. No problems at all. Hid for a few days but is always out now. Eats everything. It is not as bold as my possum wrasse and stays to one end of my 120g. Neat little fish. I'd say it is easy.

I kept one for a few years in a 14g, was a great fish, went to another home when I combined all my nanos into a bigger tank. I think they are difficult to ship that's why some may call them difficult. Once acclimated they seem to hardy, great pod and pest hunters, I initially got it to control an overpopulation of amphipods. I did get a pair and one didn't make it. He was by far my favorite nano fish.

Possum wrasse, McCoskers and Bell's flasher wrasses, Lubbocks fairy wrasse and a Melanurus wrasse. Other fish include a Bellus angel, Zoster butterfly, pair of Ocellaris clowns, Starry blenny, Yellow tang, Springeri damsels and a Randoll's goby. 120 gallons. The pink streaked is ignored. No problems at all other than a little shyness.

I've had quite a few over the years. They are easy to care for, personable, and peaceful.

As long as is in the tank first there won't be any issues between it and a gramma.

They are shy the first few days.

And they're expert hiders. I've had one in my 24g for 3 years now. It's a bit shy when there is sudden movement near the tank. Other than that it is out about cruising around the tank close to the rocks all day.

To this day though I still have no clue where it hides itself to sleep a night. I've search the tank at night with a flashlight looking for any sign of a mucus cocoon but have yet to see any hint of one. Must've really found a well-hidden little rock crevice somewhere to hole up in at night, 'cause very, very few crannies I can't see given that it's just a 24g tank.

You’re not kidding haven’t seen that little sucker since I put it in the tank; and my tanks only 40g. Search everywhere with a flashlight too and can’t find it anywhere. Day one in the books hopefully day two theres a siting. Next I’m adding a possum wrasse and using an acclimation box for a few days before finally adding to the tank. Learned my lesson.

Hi, how do th two wrasses get along? My lfs has a possum and I’m thinking of pulling the trigger tomorrow.
My pink streak is doing well, still a bit shy but it’s eating well.

Maybe the clowns. It’s a really shy fish at first and the clowns may beat on it. I’m waiting to add the clowns last for this reason. I didn’t acclimate the fish either, but suggest doing this since i did not see it for an entire week.
