Pink urchin reef safe

So bought some live rock from a nice company down in Tampa. Came with lots of live goodies, including the attached urchins. Everything I have read says they are reef safe, anyone have experience to confirm?

I also don’t want them eating all of my macro algae in my fuge. There is one type of macro they really seem to love so far ‍.

Urchin is gonna eat what it wants to eat... So probably safe with corals. Algae, not so much...

I've really liked the gulf rock hitchhiker urchins I've had. No complaints.
I'd expect them to eat the macroalgae though.
