I have a new pintail wrasse, received Thursday, and it went through a full medicated QT. It appears healthy and shows interest in all food I’ve tried. But it will only eat SF fish eggs so far. Everything else it inspects and disregards or mouths and spits out. Even the eggs it spits out some.
I’ve tried the following:
SF red bloodworms
Hikari Brine, hikari mysis, hikari spiraling mysis, hikari krill, baby brine and LRS reef frenzy. I’ve tried with and without garlic. Also prime reef flakes.

I have not tried anything live yet. will try that today. A LFS nearby has brine shrimp. Although I’m concerned about employees hands in the tanks and cross contamination with the brine shrimp tubs.....

Any suggestions on what other foods I can try?

Future readers: have no fear! You can often find food for a picky eater.
In addition to the above, I tried the following dry foods:
Fluval multi veggie
Formula 2 pellets
NLS marine pellets
Cobalt marine Omni flakes

And the winner was marine Omni flakes. The picky pintail devours them.
