Planet 310g 96x30x25 Build

yes, thankfully I mounted it vertically with enough vertical space to get it in one shot. The benefits are obvious, but I might need to find a more elegant way to "hide" it. it's propped up on a step stool and a wall bracket to allow some cabling to pass to the backside. So kinda "hacky".

It runs on a reverse light schedule at night only. Consquently my ORP goes upwards of 380mV at peak, dropping to around low 300s during the day.

Mine is just laying next to my sump and soft plumbed inline which works and I’m happy with. I am planning to just remove it temporarily for maintenance reconnecting the return directly to the display when I do the sleeve cleaning and bulb replace.

Pictures from yesterday!

Coming along! Some new corals and some new fish (copperband butterfly from Marine Collectors, blue hippo tang from Dr Reef). The torches are making more heads. Jawbreaker coral 😉 (lots of red specs, some green speck in there too)

Just some fun, made a calculator to take out all the confusion with the tropic marin block system 😂I have a simplicity 4-head doser and wanted it to find good dosing schedules on the cheap while still staying within the boundaries of max dosages. I love my DOS, but I'm not buying that many and they are huge.
