Fish Stocking considerations:

Already have:
- 2 clownfish
- 1 aiptasia-eating filefish
- 1 fire shrimp
- 1 tuxedo urchin
- existing snail CuC

To Add (though I'm still thinking and open to suggestions/thoughts):
- Yellow Tang
- White Tail Bristletooth Tang
- One Spot Foxface
- Royal Gramma
- Melanurus Wrasse
- Tiger conch
- Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

My Maybes:
- kole tang or blue hippo
- flame angel or emporer angel (though seems only semi reef safe)
- pintail fairy wrasse or yellow coris wrasse

Corals:
Existing:
- Green Hammerhead Euphyllia
- Green Toadstool
- 3 different kinds of zoas,
- isolated rock of GSP - I think I want to put this on the back wall and let it take over the wall.
- Ricordea
- An encrusting rainbow favia

To Add:
- I definitely will want more LPS (Hammers, maybe a torch, add a duncan)
- Will want to carve off a little zoa garden near the bottom
- Will want to try my hand out on SPS (totally new to me) the birdsnest seems like a good one to start with here.

That’s a BIG upgrade! Congrats. Looks like you and your son are making some solid core memories. I’ll always remember the days when I was his age working with my dad on our aquariums. I remember thinking a 90g was huge! Can’t imagine what a 310 seems like for him.

In addition I finally figured out what was wrong with my Trident NP (not that I really need it yet) but the pinch valve plastic broke on 3 heads :expressionless-face:

My 200g AWC system should be running today/tomorrow. I still also need to plumb the refill on the small 10g ATO reservoir.

3-part dosing is ready to go but still doing this by hand for now

Some noteable things automated on the new tank again:
  • Auto Water Change (200G pre-mix) is setup (left tank). This should last me for a month. and next to it is another 200G RODI water (right tank) that is filled, so I can mix and be done for another month in about ~1hr, then let the RODI container refill over 24hrs. (The waste water goes over the hallway behind that wall into the laundry room drain. I run Tropic Marin Pro for my salt, it's always been super stable and consistent for me.
  • The ATO is a small 10G reservoir, but I have a lot of evaporation on this bigger tank, so I hooked up a pump to refill the reservoir as it's used automatically from that Right 200G RODI water
  • 3-part is ready to go again, although usage is very low unsurprisingly at this point that will pick up over time and if I start growing a bunch of sticks I'll probably have to look at a calcium reactor.
  • Skimmer is dialed in finally

Once I get all the cable management in order I'll post some sump pics.
