Hi all,

I need someone who can help me to know what is wrong with my tank.

First I'll start with introducing the tank.

* Tank size = 200x70x70 cm ( 1200ltr).
* Tank age = 22 months
* Following Triton other method
* 2x maxspect fx280 wave makers
* vertex alpha 300 protein skimmer
* ATI powermodule light fixture ( 4x75w led & 8x80w T5)
* Apex neptune classic with 2 dosers pumps
* Emperor Aquatics E50S-230 UV Sterilizer

Most of my coral frags are dying after some time. Both SPS and LPS. They do good at first and show some growth (extended polyps and encrusting). I am keeping all corals at their best place considering light intensity and flow. But then with no clear reason corals start dying.

I am starting with easy level corals such as monties and acros but also these dyes after some time. The only corals growing like weed is the GSP and some mushroom. I have also a torch frag doing okay for the time being.

As I am following triton other method, I do ICP test and results show good water chemistry!! Here is the last test I did early this month.

Also kH is stable at 7.5

I feel depressed as I invested so much building the tank hoping the problem will be solved but it isn't. I don't know what can I do more!!

Please, I need help.

I am not sure if this thread is placed correctly or it should be in another section.

I know this is going to sound weird, but have you checked for stray voltage? Might be something to look into...

The triton tests shows a few elements out of order. Iodine is low, reads 0. Ba is a little high. Also Aluminum slightly high.
The iodine I would certainly slowly increase with supplement or a salt mix in which you know had in it already.
May I ask which salt brand you use? Rodi water? Make yourself? Buy from lfs?

I followed the recommendations/ corrective actions and dosed iodine, Boron, Bromine, Potassium, sulphate, lithium, and molybdenum accordingly. This was done last week.

I am using Red Sea Salt mixed with RODI water.

I see low PO4 and you said undetectable NO3. This is very dangerous and could be the very reason why your corals are dying.

I am dosing Red Sea Reef Energy A & B twice a week. ( stopped it since two weeks as most corals died)

Water is too clean. Also in the pics it doesn't really look that bright. Are you running mostly actinic T5 bulbs? By wattage you should have enough light (depending on height off the surface) if you have the right mix of bulbs but it just doesn't look very bright in any of the pics.
