.02-.05 is the "ideal range" but I think anything below .1 doesn't affect color/growth

I like to see it close to .03... 0 is pretty much impossible and not healthy.. Healthy corals and coralline algae etc need trace amounts of po4... Hth

absolutely false. Some PO4 in the water is essential to keep good color IMO. I try to not let mine get any higher than .05. My target range is anywhere from .02-.05.

funny i was logging on to ask this same question. i had to take my gfo out because i was stipped to 0 on po4. over the past week i have noticed my acros and my other lps gain some color. my po4 is now at .06. according to hannah. i think islanders where at .03 when we checked it.
