Ive been buy alot of pods for my Mandarin and I have a cpr agaufuge 2 on the back of the tank and I was wondering since I see pods in there are they making it into the tank or am i wasting pods by putting them in the refugium because I buy pods every 2 months from an online place and i get a couple of bags each time and it's around 5,000 pods per bag and I normally get 2 of them and sometimes more butmy Mandarin looks healthy because it's nice and fat and I saw a picture of an unhealthy Mandarin and it's side bones stick out and his isn't and I've had him for about a year but how often should I be buying pods to put in the tank for my Mandarin once a month or once every 2 months because this week i bought 2 bags and each bag said that there were 5230 pods in each bag and I bought 2 and another thing how often should I feed the pods because the food creates algae

Where do you get your pods from? I have Mandarin goby so I have a little experience. If you are buying that many, they breed on their own so you probably have a very large population in the tank.
