Poll, To Copper New Fish Or No ?

Do you treat prophylactically with copper or wait for symptoms to appear?

  • Yes, I treat with copper prophylactically.

I searched but did not find one. There are many good threads on using copper, but I'm wanting a simple poll, on whether you use copper on any new arrival or wait and see if anything shows up ?

I've seen mixed reviews here and my local stores are the same, even to which employee speak to !

YES Copper-
NO Wait-

Can the mods create a poll ?

It's great here, but easier for people (and me) to just look at a poll. Yes or no, ...ya no.

I'd rather risk killing a new fish than kill my display tanks full of healthy and often expensive ornamental fish by skipping. I would of course prefer not to kill ANY fish but no new fish is worth risking my others, IMO

I rarely use copper. Instead I use CP.

I voted yes, since I do treat every fish.
