Well ive have a frag of green highlighter acro that polyps do not extend anymore! im confused and figured id ask for some help. When i first got this frag is was newly cut and looked great and polyps extended nicely. Since then it has faded in color and polyps barely extend if any. It confuses me cause its growing its now has fully encrusted over the glues and now the plug but still is faded and polyps wont extend. Param's are Salinity 1.026, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, Ammonia 0, Phosphate .02, Calcium 470, Alk 8.5, lighting is a 4 bulb t5 3 actinic, 1 10k. Any help would be great, would post a pic but camera is on fritz.

Most acro love strong but do well with medium ware flow. Keep a eye as it seems you've been doing. Some times move their acro from one extreme to another but I move mine at 5" over and if no improvement then 2-3" down but never from bottom to top and the other way around. IMHO it stresses the sps out to much.

Pale = Too much light.

Try moving it down to the sandbed, then once it looks good again, raise it to the middle.

I actually haven't moved it yet, should I go toward more flow? More light? Less light? Im in a position where I can move it about 3" higher or 3-6" lower.
