Lost these: goby, clown, clown above, butterfly - ea about a month apart except blue tang. Got 40 gallon medical tank, 40 w UV for display, microscope, and added flow to where Dino’s built up. Blue tang still alive in med tank : tried coppersafe, no help, metroplex little help and now is on second day of furon2. Still alive two weeks later. Also purchased microscope and took video of what’s in sand. Not much help with Id

Does the tang also have popeye? While I commend you on the microscope photos I have no idea what I am looking at or where the sample came from. Photo of tang and symptoms please.

Thank you. Tang does not have Popeye. Neither did butterfly, goby or orange clown. Video from microscope above taken from sand bed of display tank. Tang started Bumping into things as if it went blind but no cloudy eyes. It now appears to be lethargic and barely swims at all remaining on bottom of med tank usually in a corner.
Too early to check status today but will update in a few hours

Appears to be getting color back I have not seen it eat in a few weeks but I don’t spend all day with eyes on. Use to be a big swimmer now just barely. Picture is taken this am. 6:48 central Aug 9th

Video did not show for me. If in a hospital tank be sure to have lots of oxygen in the tank. And I would have to say the fish is not eating. Tangs love to eat. I hope he is doing better today. Will look up your suspect.

So strange. I am sure you are matching temperature, ph, salinity and have a powerhead moving the surface water. No idea. :(

I have a octopus 150SSS in sump plus heavy duty dual bubbler in tank. And yes both matched. AD77FA01-96BD-4873-A963-96E253375B01.jpeg

Did 30 days CopperSafe. Very lethargic. Did antibiotics Furan2/metro/kanaplex Appears vision has come back somewhat as the fish moves back when approached occasionally. Still has white chalky look on sides Rapidly breathing.
