Can anyone id this possible pest? I have no idea where it got into my prop system but it has spread across three separate tanks covering nearly all the egg crate (approx 4 square meters) and nearly all the frag bases within the last 6 months.
So far it doesn't seem to have caused any damage and will grow right up to the edge of the coral before stopping. There doesn't seem to be any aggression between the two and the coral will continue to grow and base out.
The possible pest is on the bottom right, for size reference the polyps at the top left are Porites cylindrica
