My 6yr old Box fish ( larger then Iphone 14pro max ) passed on Dec. 31, on the 30th she was acting and eating normal but passed away throughout the night killing everything that pumps blood in my 200g tank. My question is how long does it normally take for the toxins disapate? I have done three 40g water changes, replaced the carbon twice since and the skimmer has finally chilled out,that morning I woke up to foam all over the sump so her passing affected the skimmer like dawn soap was added to the system.
