Had a shroom vs digitata moved the shroom tho as it was killing the base of the digi

i still have a ways to go before corals are touching. hopefully it is not as bad as some of the pictured situations!

I love seeing these pictures. I never seem to think of taking any when I see it. Here is an old one of my montis, but they worked it out.

I currently have several types of both zoas and palys which the purple microcode and sps are overtaking and killing which I'm letting happen as the tanks going

Lps sps shrooms a clam and clove polyps

Some are zoas but the current orange montipora capricornis that is up top is over taking palys not zoas
Those palys you are talking about actually look like big polyped brown zoas. Also, that is probably not a montipora capricornis as true caps are almost never seen in the hobby. Most capricornis in the hobby are actually other species of plating montipora. True capricornis are a dull purple in color and do not have any tuberculae or papillae. They also have a wavy texture on their plates.

This is a fascinating thread and I am just starting to seem some coral battles in my tank mainly torches hitting other corals quite a distance away.
