Post your coral warfare pictures

Thats crazy looking. Its like the gsp is a giant green flat worm trying to slowly eat the toadstools
The toadstools stay just ahead, the GSP grows on their stalks.
One of the stalks is (or was) a purple Gorgonian, GSP covered it fully.

i still have a ways to go before corals are touching. hopefully it is not as bad as some of the pictured situations!

I love seeing these pictures. I never seem to think of taking any when I see it. Here is an old one of my montis, but they worked it out.

Some are zoas but the current orange montipora capricornis that is up top is over taking palys not zoas
Those palys you are talking about actually look like big polyped brown zoas. Also, that is probably not a montipora capricornis as true caps are almost never seen in the hobby. Most capricornis in the hobby are actually other species of plating montipora. True capricornis are a dull purple in color and do not have any tuberculae or papillae. They also have a wavy texture on their plates.

This is a fascinating thread and I am just starting to seem some coral battles in my tank mainly torches hitting other corals quite a distance away.
