Posting a percentage "%" sign issues

Every time I post a percentage sign in a post and hit submit it ends up coming up as "%" I wasn't sure you were aware or not. I see it coming up in other peoples post also.

I saw it one of my posts along time ago and thought the editor on phone did it then I noticed in someone elses thread it was there and earlier tonight I put 50 percent with the sign like this 50% and thought what in the world is that!!!! Lol

FWIW, that's the html encoding for the % sign. Probably a scripting issue.
