Today I noticed that my PBT has cloudy eyes, and white spots. A few days ago I noticed it's swimming behavior start to change. Along with the accompanied periodic flashing. There is no sick tank or QT. I ordered Hikari ich-x reef safe. The PBT is still eating. I'm giving him algae infused with garlic as well. Is there anything else I can do? What is the probability of him surviving?

Can you upload pics?

Acanthurus tangs don't usually fare well living with an ich affliction. Velvet is even more troublesome.

IchX won't erradicate ich. You'd need a hospital tank or QT as all of the proven methods are not reef safe.

It may help control the affliction temporarily until you can come up with a solution.

It's hard to get a good picture. Yea I'm seeing that. I decided to look up a previous thread on it here.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
