Predator tools

I'm getting ready to set up my next tank, I plan to have some venomous predators in there so I want to avoid putting my hands in as much as possible. I'm planning on getting a 24" gravel tube for any water changes / cleaning the sand bed I need to do (although I'm setting up an automatic water change) as well as some good size tongs for grabbing things and feeding.

What other tools do you have that you find useful?

Big long skewer , may not be needed. I used a skewer to feed eels, easy to get them to frozen. You can mimic a fish swimming about , ensure what is eating what ect. Also everytime the eels saw the skewer they knew what time it was , which allowed hands in tank if needed

Do you think this is overkill? I've seen scuba divers comment they use these HexArmor 9013 gloves when they're hunting lionfish.
