What conditions is everyone keeping their predators at? Mine just don't seem as happy as my other high end zoas (Thermosphere, GMK, LSOH, Exosphere, etc).

I am at:
100-150 par
78 F
35 ppt
8 dkh, 440 Ca, 1400 Mg
3-4 NO3, 0.03-0.05 PO4
Everything in line with Triton NSW values (Sr, I , K etc)

Usually when my new zoa's aren't happy it's because I didn't acclimate them to higher light. Usually place new zoa's in sub 100 par them slow move them closer to the par target I want them in.

I did just get a pred zoa in a trade today, so I can keep you posted on my experience

I've seen Predators pretty regularly at $120-ish/polyp lately. I've got a local buddy growing some out now, so it won't be long for me, I hope. :D

Same here. Local seller sold them for $110. Regularly see them go for less than $120pp. They'll be $50 in no time.

I just got my new ones in and man the polyps are so big and bright! I accidentally fried my last one among many more zoas! Probably the dumbest thing I have ever done! I was doin a WC and the level got below the frag rack and fried most of them! Luckily I didnt loose that many valuable ones. Some I cant even remember what they were!

Water getting below them shouldn’t phase them, they should just close up.
