I'm finally getting around to set this up. How do you prime the thing? I try manually dosing to get it going, but nothing happens.

You can use manual dosing and the pump should rotate if you have a power supply hooked up to the power input port on the Blenny and have it plugged in.I'm finally getting around to set this up. How do you prime the thing? I try manually dosing to get it going, but nothing happens.
Do you have power connected to the power input port on the Blenny? None of the outputs will work if that does not have power even when it is in a collective. Also is this your only controller?None of the pumps are rotating.
Yup. Have power. Also have an x4 and a wave engine.Do you have power connected to the power input port on the Blenny? None of the outputs will work if that does not have power even when it is in a collective. Also is this your only controller?None of the pumps are rotating.
can you post a screenshot of the output settings for one of the pumps? Also try setting the override to off and then try the manual dose. I think it has to be in that mode for both calibration and manual dosing. I know it does for calibration.Yup. Have power. Also have an x4 and a wave engine.

I also check by doing a manual dose on a Minnow pump I have setup similar to your settings and it runs even when it is in auto on a manual dose. If none of the pumps are working Not sure is you have anything you can connect to one of the drive ports but if those are not working also it sounds like a power issue. The Blenny brain will get power from the command bus but any of the output will get power from the power supply you have hooked to the power input port on the Blenny. At this point it sounds like that could be a power issue since it would be odd for all 4 pumps to have the same issue at the same time.Yup. Have power. Also have an x4 and a wave engine.
It may be the same as the one on the Wave Engine. You would have to check and see if it is or not but if it is you can always switch to see if the issue switches to the Wave Engine. Another way would be to unhook it from the collective but to do that you will need to power every thing down. Then power the Blenny back up to see if it will power it up when not hooked to the collective. If it does not then it could very well be the power supply.I was thinking maybe a bad power supply?

I have had the same issue but haven’t fully figured out what’s going on. The app show it pumping but the doser doesn’t spin. I have gotten it to intermittently work, calibrated, programmed on a dosing schedule, then it quits working again. I have ensured it’s running the latest firmware… Mine is set up in a collective and it says everything is normal. Did you get anywhere with CoralVue support? None of my other hydros dosers seem to have this issue at all.Im only able to get pump 1 to dose
Is the controller in a collective? If so make sure the power supply is connected to the Blenny and plugged into an always on outlet. The brain of the controller can get it's power from the command bus but the pumps cannot. They are only powered through the power supply that connects to the power port on the Blenny controller.I have had the same issue but haven’t fully figured out what’s going on. The blenny is powered by its own dedicated power supply. It is hooked into the collective with a data only command cable. Is the controller in a collective? Communication… lol.The blenny is powered by its own dedicated power supply. It is hooked into the collective with a data only command cable.
I’ve gotten it to work but then it just stops working randomly without me noticing. It’ll show that it’s working in the app but not actually dispensing liquids. It even lowers the reservoir amount in the app, so it thinks it’s actually dispensing.
I feel like there is a communicate glitch with the brain and the actual pump…

The only 2 reasons to use a data only cable are if there is a power supply in the collective that connects directly to a command bus port and if so it has to have a data only cable between it and any other source of power. Or the cable is longer than the maximum length for a standard bus cable. I think that is 14ft. You might want to submit a support ticket with CoralVue for this issue since it must be getting power from the power supply. I have a Blenny and use 2 of the pumps for AWC pumps and have had no issues with them running. The blenny is powered by its own dedicated power supply.
