Priming a Hydros Blenny

The blenny is powered by its own dedicated power supply. It is hooked into the collective with a data only command cable.
I’ve gotten it to work but then it just stops working randomly without me noticing. It’ll show that it’s working in the app but not actually dispensing liquids. It even lowers the reservoir amount in the app, so it thinks it’s actually dispensing.
I feel like there is a communicate glitch with the brain and the actual pump…
The only 2 reasons to use a data only cable are if there is a power supply in the collective that connects directly to a command bus port and if so it has to have a data only cable between it and any other source of power. Or the cable is longer than the maximum length for a standard bus cable. I think that is 14ft. You might want to submit a support ticket with CoralVue for this issue since it must be getting power from the power supply. I have a Blenny and use 2 of the pumps for AWC pumps and have had no issues with them running.
I’m running a PX8 with command/power to a X4 which has the command power port only. Then a data only from the X4 to the blenny with its own power. I think it’s hooked up correctly as you’re not supposed to have two wall power sources connected with a command/power cable correct? I’ll send in a ticket soon if I continue to have issues. Thanks for the help.

If you have an XP8 with the X4 then you do not use any power supply that connects to the command bus with the XP8 in the collective. Those power supplies do not have isolation built into them. The XP8 does have isolation built into the controller and so does the Blenny and those can be used together as long as the cable is not over 14ft.

same here I can't figure it out
Do you have it setup in an output? If so go to the left menu and select schedules. Then click the + sign in lower right of the screen to create a schedule. The type would be dosing regimen. The total dose is the total for the complete schedule so it you do multiple dosing in the schedule the total would be spread out between each dosing event. So if you have it doing 4 doses it will divide the scheduled time by 4. So it creates 4 equal sections of time within the schedules start and stop times. It will then dose at the beginning of each section of time. So the last dose will not happen at the ending time. So you can use multiple schedules as long a the second schedule starts when the first one ends and so on. Hope this helps.
