I've got a Kessil A160 WE that I'm trying to control with a Kessil Controller. When I use it to set the lights manually it works just fine.

When I try to set up a program, I go into the program section and set up my time points. Apply it to the port and expect it to control the light.

It doesn't seem to work at all. Either the light will not come on, or it will come and stay constant, as in it won't cycle or go off at my program time.

I'm trying to set it to run blue from like 3pm until midnight then white from midnight until seven am or so. I'd like it to cycle up then down. Again I thought that I had set all the times correctly, but it doesn't seem to respond to the inputs.

Thanks for your help!

Matt

I'd start by making sure you set it to the correct port.
Did you set a ramp up and down for both intensity and color?

Yes sir, and I can control it with the manual setting on the controller.

Quite odd. I control two tanks with mine never had an issue with the 160s. With the 360s I found I had to start at a slightly higher color and intensity around 13%.

Did you:
  • tap on Port Set on the top row
  • then tap on Port 1
  • then tap up or down until you've selected Quick Set 1?
Quick set 1 is what you set as your program.

That is what I did without any success

All the cords securely in their port holes? Unplug, replug power and port cables, try again. Failing that call Kessil tech support. I'm at a loss.

Ok guys I figured it out.

You must start the day at midnight. You can't start and cross midnight.

Thank you all for your help.
