Next issue and I hope it’s easy to fix. Why can’t I connect via app when I’m away from home. At home, and next to the aquarium I can connect and see values but I’m not connected locally. I’m not on the hotspot and the yellow lamp isn’t lit. Im thinking it may have something to do with the app itself and myGHL not communicating. But what do I know? Any ideas?
You need to connect your app to myGHL - (log in) After that you will have two Icons when you start the app - 1 locally and one you use outside your network.
Ok thanks. I did follow the instructions on the video and I do have the two ProfiLux options on my app, the hotspot and the WiFi. I will see if I can get that solved today when I get home. Thanks again
If you have your phone with you and your P4 up - you can just logg in the app into myGHL there you are for the moment. You should also be able to enter myGHL through your browser (at work) - log in and see your P4
On the app at work when I go to settings, this is what I see. The P4 is on at home. I’m not able to select anything regarding myghl from the app. It says I’m not logged in. Do I need to log in through a browser first?
@Lasse I followed the instructions for myGHL and got it all set up. Thanks again! Next will be adding my power bar and slave doser. I have high hopes that it will be easier since I won't have to deal with any network set up.
Glad we all could help - that´s the strength of forums like R2R, here there are almost always specialists and well-informed people who can fill in with knowledge from different disciplines and from different angles.
May I ask you if it is a used P4 that you have purchased?
Yes it was used. I got a pretty good deal on it but I hope I don’t have to replace the ph and conductivity probes. I haven’t gotten so far as to get them calibrated
Have you been able to connect to your used P4 to your account of myGHL. If it had been connected before - the first user must take it away from his/hers myGHL first.
