Earl my urchin has seemed to pass I am so bummed! He took a very large tumble and although he looked like he was getting better, he stopped attaching to the walls and was flipping over. Today he’s dropped all his needles and his little tentacles are no longer coming out. I’m not really holding out hope but I am so upset he’s only survived 2 months and he was a juvenile. There was so much food too and water chemistry hasn’t changed. Should I stick him in the fridge or wait a bit longer? I wanted to give him some time but he’s no longer responding to any stimuli.

He did not he was placed in the freezer after further inspection. He had a nasty fall a week or so ago and I wonder if that did it in for him. His one side was black and although his shell did not crack he had acted weird ever since. I might try again with a different variety when I stop by to replenish CUC and get another coral. It’s a shame he was amazing at eating algae. It’s all back already on the glass. The turbo has nothing on Earl!

Finally got my light to work for both a future refugium and just a waterproof light to use in my sump. Almost tossed it before realized I used the wrong adapter

Following along! Do you have any recent full-tank shots?

P.S. Sorry to hear about Earl :(
I do! I haven’t been doing much with it since I’ve been doing home Reno but besides my urchin casualty everything is doing well now. My turbo has been eating all my hair algae’s as well so makes me wonder if Earl both starved and was injured..

This feels so silly🤣 I wanted to do a cool cabinet for my cables but my space was limited so I did some measuring and ordered this. Don’t get me wrong it’s adorable but it’s holding nothing but bottles and food. Still keeping it since it’s so slim and was pretty cheap
