My purple firefish has been laying down on the rock and gasping a bit, motionless. What’s wrong with him.

Check your water chemistry. Asap. Try a light feeding and see if it is interesting in eating at all.

So it ate. I’m doing a 50% water change right now.

The fact it was interested in food is a good sign. Hopefully fresh water will perk it up.

My clownfish is a pig when it comes to food and is usually the first to get all the good pieces of food, so maybe it’s hungry.

My first clown was sir chomps a lot, lol. She bit me every time I fed her.

My firefish unfortunately passed away after a water change. He went into hiding last night and reappeared and was floating.
