I have had 2 purple tilefish for about 3 months now. I noticed something tonight-- is this normal poop or parasite, and do I need to treat my whole DT? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love these guys. #Hoplolatilus purpureus

This is likely excess mucus in the stomach lining especially if feeding mysis and brine shrimp exclusively. The fish has good body mass rather than weight loss. Add foods such as LRS fish frenzy , plankton which the fish will have a different color and consistency with feces
