Qt or not to QT

I think my fish have ich, velvet, flukes or maybe something else. However, I feel like they may have started to feel a bit better after doing a fresh water dip on 2 of them and feeding seachem mega something mixed with focus.
Do I go through the hassle of taking all 5 fish out and dosing with copper in a qt tank? Its only a 5month established tank. And now i realize they have that blue and green pack for a quick treatment before putting in tank.
My question is if I get a 10g tank for qt is it really that big of a hassle to constantly check the copper level, ammonia level and the big one the water changes rhat i read are daily for my fishes treatment.

I would definitely treat them in a QT. When it comes to your question if it is hard work to do… Imo… no.

Use some filtered media from your tank and for the rest pvc and bare bottom. Doing it this way, your copper level will not fluctuate and testing it once every 5 days is more than enough. Eater changes only if you have ammonia issues, that really depends on your media. Never had to do a WC due to ammonia in my QT, only for water quality every week and that is the only time I check my copper levels to make sure it is good before and after the water change.

Of course 5 fish and a quick setup might make it more difficult, make sure you always cycle a bag of ceramic rings in your sump or run your qt 24/7.

Dealing with outbreaks of disease, losing fish and buying expensive UV stuff is a big hassle aswell :)

So could you help with this.
Lets say I have equipment. I put in salt water and ro water...how do I know how much of each to put...its a 10g tank. Also once ro and salt is in can I just put my fish in? Or do I have to put anything else in...i was gonna put em in an uncycled tank. I dont understand when u say sump...its a 10gal with a hob filter...

Have you confirmed what the illness is? Better to medicate only what’s necessary for the specific problem. I some medications have interactions and others could hurt the fish if misdiagnosed/mistreated.

I dont know. Its so frustrating I just am so sick of this. My midas blenny is biting its tail and slapping the sand bed with its body. I think flashing. My gramma is flashing and scratching himself. I've had a helfrichi die weeks ago. The blenny seems a bit better after feeding it seacham metro/focus and doing a fresh water dip. The gramma has dots and no other fish does. Here is a pic of the helfrichi before it died. The video of the midas blenny id recommend seeing please. Again no spots on fish that I can see other than gramma and the helfrichi who died weeks ago. Also I didnt see anything fall off during the fresh water dip. But it could have been I just couldn't see idk. I only dipped blenny and gramma. I also have a yellow watchman, melanarus wrasse and 2 clowns

From your pics, I believe you'll need to treat all your fish in a separate, medicated QT tank, and leave the display tank fish-less for a couple of months to fully starve out the Ich and/or other parasites that may be in the display tank.

You really need a cycled tank to run a proper quarantine in. You can try using bottled bacteria, but seeding it with good filter media from a well established tank would work better.

You really need a cycled tank to run a proper quarantine in. You can try using bottled bacteria, but seeding it with good filter media from a well established tank would work better.

OP has an established. I was going to suggest they use seed material from DT.
